Bringing Classical Singing to Centralia through Education and Performance

Explore our 2025 Season!

Our Mission

The Centralia Opera is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing opera to Centralia, Illinois through performance and education.

We are so excited to be launching our inaugural season.

This July, we are mounting a full operatic production of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s The Magic Flute.

Through this process, we are offering high school students in Centralia and the surrounding communities an opportunity to study singing with professional singers for free. Students in the fellowship program will recieve weekly voice lessons, participate in classes, and perform alongside their teachers in our production of Mozart’s The Magic Flute. Apply today, by clicking here.

If you would like to help bring this amazing art form to Centralia, please consider making a tax-deductible donation today. Simply tap “donate” to get started.
