Our Mission

The Centralia Opera is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing opera to Centralia, Illinois through performance and education..

This June, we are mounting a full operatic production of Giacomo Puccini’s La Boheme.

Through this process, we are offering high school and Jr. High students in Centralia and the surrounding communities an opportunity to study singing with professional singers for free. Students in the fellowship program will receive weekly voice lessons, participate in classes, and perform alongside their teachers in our production of Puccini’s La Boheme. Apply today, by clicking here.

If you would like to help bring this amazing art form to Centralia, please consider making a tax-deductible donation today. Simply tap “donate” to get started.
